Smart Auto Care – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using Smart Auto Care’s services, you automatically accept these Terms & Conditions. No signature is required—your use of our services constitutes agreement with this policy.
2. Service Disclaimer
- All repairs, paint jobs, and refinishing work are done to the best possible standard considering factors such as the vehicle’s age, previous repairs, paint condition, and environmental factors.
- Color Matching Disclaimer: We use professional techniques to match paint colors as accurately as possible, but we do not guarantee a 100% factory color match.
- Paint colors can appear different under various lighting conditions, and slight variations are normal.
- Customers acknowledge that minor variations in color or texture do not qualify as a defect or a reason for a refund or liability claim.
3. Inspection & Acceptance of Work
- Customers must inspect and approve the work upon job completion.
- Any concerns must be raised immediately, or within 48 hours of the service being completed.
- After this period, Smart Auto Care is not liable for any issues or complaints regarding the work.
- Once the vehicle leaves our care, we assume that the customer is satisfied with the work.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Smart Auto Care’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
- Under no circumstances will Smart Auto Care be liable for:
- Third-party repair costs.
- Loss of vehicle use.
- Depreciation or reduced resale value of the vehicle.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- If a customer is dissatisfied, Smart Auto Care must be given the opportunity to inspect and correct the issue first.
- If a refund is provided, it is the final settlement, and no additional claims will be accepted after that.
5. Third-Party Repairs & Unauthorized Claims
- If a customer takes the vehicle to another repairer without first notifying Smart Auto Care, all claims for refunds or compensation will be void.
- We do not cover any repair costs charged by third-party workshops unless explicitly agreed upon in writing before the work is performed.
- Customers cannot request additional payments for third-party repairs after accepting a refund from Smart Auto Care.
6. Refund Policy
- Refunds are not automatically granted and are only provided at the sole discretion of Smart Auto Care.
- Customers must allow Smart Auto Care to inspect and rectify any issues before requesting a refund.
- If a refund is granted, the matter is considered fully resolved, and no additional compensation will be provided.
- Once a refund is issued, Smart Auto Care is released from all liability related to the service.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must disclose any previous paintwork, rust, peeling paint, or hidden damage before service begins.
- Smart Auto Care is not responsible for problems caused by:
- Pre-existing poor repairs.
- Manufacturer paint defects.
- Rust, corrosion, or peeling paint.
- Customers must ensure their vehicle is clean and dry before service. Excessive dirt, dust, or moisture may affect the paint finish.
8. Weather & Environmental Conditions
- Smart Auto Care operates in outdoor and indoor environments, meaning weather conditions may affect the job.
- If the job is delayed due to rain, wind, or extreme temperatures, customers will be notified, and an alternative appointment will be arranged.
- Smart Auto Care is not responsible for dust contamination, overspray, or minor imperfections caused by outdoor conditions.
9. Booking & Cancellations
- Bookings are confirmed only after Smart Auto Care provides a confirmation.
- Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
- Last-minute cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
10. Lifetime Warranty Policy
At Smart Auto Care, we stand by the quality of our workmanship. We offer a lifetime warranty on our paintwork, subject to the following conditions:
What’s Covered?
✔ Paint peeling, cracking, or flaking due to faulty workmanship.
✔ Defects caused by application errors from Smart Auto Care.
✔ Warranty applies only to the specific area repaired by us.
What’s NOT Covered?
❌ Fading, discoloration, or oxidation due to sun exposure, weather, or improper maintenance.
❌ Damage caused by accidents, scratches, pressure washing, or third-party repairs.
❌ Paint issues related to rust, previous bad repairs, or manufacturer defects.
❌ Issues that arise due to chemical exposure, bird droppings, or environmental conditions.
How to Claim the Warranty?
- Customers must provide proof of service (receipt or invoice).
- Any claims must be assessed in person by Smart Auto Care.
- The warranty applies only to the original owner and is non-transferable.
- We must be given the opportunity to fix any covered defects before third-party repairs are done.
11. Acceptance by Use
By booking or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
